The Lambda Chi Alpha Scholarship was created in 1985 by the Sigma-Theta Zeta Alumni Association of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. The scholarship is to be awarded to a full-time Methodist University student with at least a 2.0 grade point average as selected by the Financial Aid Office staff. The original goal was to raise $10,000 through donations from the fraternity and its alumni.
