Lynn Morton Kubota Endowed Scholarship
This is your invitation to help remember the life of Lynn Morton Kubota '84 and support Methodist University for years to come through an endowed scholarship in Lynn's name. Once the scholarship has been fully funded at $25,000, a student will be selected to receive the Lynn Morton Kubota Endowed Scholarship.
Lynn passed away January 28, 2019 at the age of 56. Originally born in Oregon, Lynn grew up in North Carolina. She attended Methodist where she met Mamoru “Boots” Kubota '82, whom she married, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. They had one son, David.
Boots and David will be invited to join the Methodist University Endowed Scholarship Luncheon each year where they will meet the student receiving the scholarship. Lynn’s legacy will live on year to year giving us pause to remember our dear friend and alumnus through the awarding of this scholarship.
We are seeking 25 individuals who will pledge $1,000 each toward this scholarship. It may be paid in one payment or spread out up to five years. The donations are tax deductible. Would you consider being one of the 25 to help us endow this scholarship?
